Sports Night at Center Island Home
Sports Committee is holding its July Sports Night at the Center Island, Toronto.
When: Saturday July 18, 2009
From: 10:00 AM till 4:00 PM
A special group of over 30 North American youths from all parts of North America are coming for a Zarthusti workshop this weekend to Toronto. Meet all of them at the Center Island.
We will sell one of a kind:
- Delicious Khatta Mittha Beef-Potato Patties, Rotli & drinks: (These are authenic Parsi Patties which are rarely made anymore)

Veggie Patties for Vegetarians.

Kindly inform us atleast by July 15, 2009 so we can bring these delicious patties for everyone.
What you should bring: Bikinis (for Volleyball, Swimming & Boating)
We will provide Badminton Rackets/Shuttles, Tennis Balls, Freezbies, Volleyball & Soccer
Do I have to pay for all this fun? Ofcourse Not. Its FREE

How do I get to the Center Island?
TORONTO ISLAND FERRY AND PUBLIC TRANSIT SERVICE. The Toronto Island Ferry service docks at Hanlan's Point, Centre Island and Ward's Island. The Mainland Ferry Terminal, located at the Bay Street and Queen's Quay West intersection, is ten minutes walk from Union Station. Public transit to the terminal includes the Bay 6 bus and the Harbourfront L.R.T. Abundant user-pay parking can be found nearby. Bicycles may be taken on the ferry, although some restrictions apply during peak periods
TORONTO ISLAND FERRY:The Toronto Island Ferry is an enjoyable, 20 minute trip across the harbour to the Islands. A cash fare is collected at the Mainland Ferry Terminal for a return trip. Rates are as follows:
- Adults: $6.50
- Students: $4.00 (15 19 years Proof of Student ID and Photo ID required
- Seniors: $4.00 (over 65)
- Juniors: $3.00 (under 15)
- Children (under 2) ----- FREE

GAS BARBEQUES:Propane or gas B.B.Q.'s are not permitted on the Ferry Boats for safety reasons. We recommend that you bring along a small portable charcoal operated hibachi B.B.Q., just in case one of our B.B.Q. stands is unavailable for your use.
